Who do we work with?
Orlo is the UK’s leading Social Media Management platform. Focusing on the public sector we work with over 350 leading organisations who use our platform to manage their digital conversations and build trust in their communities.
What’s the Social Media Manager role all about?
This is a unique opportunity to join the marketing team of the UK’s leading Social Media Management Platform, we’re looking for a social media superstar to take control of our social media strategy and help us become our own best practice example. If you’re passionate about all things social, constantly curious about how to best utilise the latest channels and want to have a bit of fun along the way then this may just be the ideal role for you.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Defining, planning and executing on Orlo’s Social Media Strategy
- Celebrating our latest client wins by sharing the news on our social media channels
- Ensuring the brand is consistently reflected in everything we do
- Making our content work harder for us by promoting it on social media and with creative copy in digital ads/ campaigns
- Promoting Orlo’s presence at third-party events and sharing our own events and webinars across social to secure sign-ups and showcase the activity.
- Assisting the wider marketing team in their day to day roles with the opportunity to gain experience in other marketing disciplines too
- Recognising great examples of our own customers’ social engagement and celebrating their successes with surprise and delight campaigns
What would Orlo love from you?
- Experience in working in social media management or equivalent degree experience
- Social savvy with a natural ability to be bold and think outside the box
- A genuine passion for all things marketing and branding
- A team player but with the ability to work autonomously
- Results driven and ambitious
- A strong personality, a natural sense of humour is a bonus!
- Constantly curious with finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the social industry
- An insatiable desire to try new things and experiment with new trends/get involved in hot topics
- Experience with marketing design tools such as Canva and Photoshop and a keen eye for design are essential
