What’s the product marketing role all about?
We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Orlo’s products. You’ll play a critical role in shaping product positioning, messaging and launches, working closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams to drive adoption, growth and customer value.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role will form a key part of the Marketing team, with two days per week in our Birmingham HQ and the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Own and evolve Orlo’s product positioning, messaging and value propositions
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new features and product launches
- Develop clear, compelling product narratives for different customer segments
- Enable Sales and Customer Success teams with training, materials and competitive insights
- Conduct market, customer and competitor research to inform product and marketing strategy
- Work closely with Product Managers to translate product capabilities into customer benefits
- Create and maintain product marketing assets, including website content, sales collateral, case studies and presentations
- Track and analyse product performance and campaign effectiveness, using insights to optimise future activity
What would Orlo love from you?
- Proven experience in a Product Marketing Manager (or similar) role within the technology or SaaS sector
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, product launches and lifecycle marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams
- High energy, self-starter who is keen to take the initiative and experiment with new strategies and approaches
- Commercially minded, with a customer-first approach
- Comfortable using data and insights to inform decisions
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Desirable:
- Experience in marketing B2B SaaS products
- Familiarity with agile product development environments
- Experience supporting public sector or regulated markets
